Best practices on changing locations

I think this is a start, but their are a lot more things then just grazing events that happen in a paddock. I know there was a lot of discussion over on the brainstorming topic about adding these non-grazing events to the plan.

The latest version of the grazing plan module adds dots to the gantt timeline bars for each log that happens in association with the herd / location assets. See screenshots and description here:

Each “movement row” shows a single yellow dot representing the actual movement log. Notice that on the first “movement row” (“Move Sheep Herd 1 to Paddock 1”) has a movement log that happened later than the planned movement date. The crop planning module does the same thing. I’ve been using that for my planting this year, and having the dots on the timeline has been a game changer! It is soooo easy to get a quick glimpse of everything going on around a particular thing/place in the plan, and makes navigating to those a lot easier. Still lots of improvements to be made (and some real low hanging fruit too) but it’s been a big step forward for me anyway.
