@mstenta @paul121 esp. Paul - curious if you’d seen this. It would be great to begin to define objects like this decoupled from the auto-generated UI for better semantic connections. Just curious of your (or anyone’s) thoughts on this.

Hmm yeah I think we need a little more context. I’m quite interested in having more semantic/linked-data/rdf representations of farmOS data and using this for interop. But the focus needs to be on the semantics themselves, not any particular serialization of RDF, of which JSON-LD is one serialization.
It shouldn’t be too hard to export/import data from farmOS in a given format, especially if there are PHP libraries to help with the particular format. Just gotta do the work to wire things up and add them as manual import/exports. But making things less manual, more API driven and resolvable as “linked data” etc needs more consideration, especially when importing/writing to farmOS
