Just an update here. I upgraded the drupal_jupyterlite module to include the 0.5.1 version of JupyterLite and the 0.5.2 version of jupyterlite-pyodide-kernel.
From some rudimentary testing, the new version is a much more mature/stable environment than the previous alpha release was. I hope some other folks also find it useful!
