or at least be just one link away. The way it is, Plant type of “Swiss Chard” appears on the Plant asset page as cold type, and the non-admin user has no way of viewing the Plant type page.

Am i missing something, or is this indeed not possible?

It is possible, but not implemented yet.

At some point here I need to get back to my pull request that (among other things) changes those to links.
