Duplicating logs for activites which occur over multiple days

Hi FarmOS user community,

Does anyone know of a way to duplicate FarmOS logs?

For example, say I am ploughing (such a dirty word… I am totally asking for a friend :)) a field and it starts raining so I have to stop ploughing for several days while I wait for the rain to clear.

What I’d ideally like is to create two different records, one for each day. However, I don’t want to recreate the record if I don’t have to - it would be easier just to copy and paste it, and then change the date.

Is there a way I can do this?

Many thanks all,

Aislinn

Welcome to the farmOS forum @aislinnpearson!

Yes! If you find the log in a list (like Logs > Activities in the menu), and then click the checkbox next to it, a set of buttons will appear at the bottom of the page for performing “bulk operations” on the selected log(s). One of them is “Clone”. This will create a copy of the log and give you the option to select a new date. Everything will be copied from the old log.

Hope that helps!
