I consider to put Node-Red into my pig feeding computer.
This is a regular windows pro pc.
I don’t want this acessible outside my farm.
Wil a standard install be safe enough, or should I harden it down?

As long as you don’t need Node-Red Accessible from outside your network it should be fine. It is a Webserver, but unless you go out of your way to expose its ports it is not going to receive inbound traffic.
