farmOS 2.0 Translation / Localization (l10n) Initiative

Way to go @rolin!! Please do share the final PO file when you feel like it’s ready. The process of getting translations accepted into localize.drupal.org can take time, so we have also been thinking about organizing/offering PO files to the farmOS community for anyone who wants to import them manually. I’m sure there are some French-speaking users who would love to benefit from your efforts! Thanks again!

Welcome to the forum @vtorija and thanks for your interest in helping!

Ultimately the best way and easiest to contribute translations is via https://localize.drupal.org/translate/farm

An overview of the process (not farmOS-specific) is here: https://www.drupal.org/community/contributor-guide/reference-information/localize-drupal-org/overview-of-localizedrupalorg#s-translation-process-on-localizedrupalorg

Since farmOS is built on Drupal, we get all the benefits of the Drupal community’s centralized translation server architecture. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of experience contributing translations personally, so that’s about the extent of my knowledge. If you are willing to learn how localize.drupal.org works, you can probably go pretty far! I would be happy to help if you get stuck on anything specific.

Thanks again for your interest!

Hello guys,

Just subscribed hosted Farmos in the cloud (Farmier).

I don’t find anywhere the option to change language.

Is this not available in the hosted solution?

Hi @pedrofarmos - send me a private message with your farmOS URL and I can help set it up.

Hi Mike, tried to send you a private message but Discourse won’t let me.

Maybe I don’t have credentials to do it ?
