I am interested in using FarmOS or something similar in teaching precision agriculture classes. Some of the tasks students will do are:
field boundary mapping
farm/client/field organization
soil sampling grids
field management zones
soil and crop data sensors
satellite and UAV imagery
variable rate prescriptions
yield data upload
yield data analysis
I would be interested in hearing if others have explored this option.
